April Review
April, without doubt, has been an awesome month for teaching flying. It all started on the 1st of the month, and we have had twenty three days of training out of thirty, this month alone. That has given us nineteen paraglider Club Pilots signed off, five hang glider Club Pilots signed off and four paramotor Club Pilots and Pilot ratings.
This has all come from a combination of both winch, aerotow and hill training, both here at the airpark in Derbyshire, the Norfolk winching club, and with Chris running a Club Pilot course in the Southern Alps of France. A lot of hard work and planning, not just from the team at Airways, Airsports but from students as well. Well done to one and all on gaining your ratings, and all here hope you have a great fun future in flying.
This week I have had the pleasure in signing off Tom Humphries as CPC winch, who has come back after a five year lay-off, and Martin Shrosbree CPC paramotor, who has his new Bailey V4 on order with us, and will be coming back when it arrives to complete his Pilot rating. Well done to you both.
