Winter Wonderland.
This time of the year offers some of the most fantastic flying with super-smooth and crisp air.
The conditions we had at the weekend gave us all a great start to February. The microlights both 3-axis and flex wing flew from Friday though to Sunday when it started to snow again and gave some awesome views of the snow over the Derbyshire countryside.
It also gave Nigel Prior a chance to do his General Skills Test (GST) on our C42 which he passed with flying colours - well done Nigel! First of 2009 & ready for a summer of fun.
Sunday came, and everything was in the air. Five ex-students came along for a tow on their paragliders – pilots keen on keeping their hand in are always good to see. Michael and Damien had a great first day and whole bunch more with hang gliders, paragliders and para motors filling the skies.
So don’t let winter get you down - when the conditions let you get up, come and fly. Santa would!
