Five out of Seven
The first seven days of March has given us five days of flying - we could not ask for more. With spring-like conditions already here, we are starting to see a steady flow of new students and CPCs signed off.
The mid-week students seem to be getting the best of the weather at the moment with Wednesday, Thursday and Friday giving some great conditions, and long tows, to give the students a taste for altitude. Congratulations to Blaise Brogan and Paul Warring who completed their tasks on Wednesday in just seven day of flying. I signed off their CPC. They will also be the first to get the all new Mojo 3 for 2009. They have put them on pre-order with us.
There his also a big “well done“ to Tony Grady who got in the air for the first time on Wednesday on a paramotor, and completed two high flights and circuits. He has well and truly started his power training.
Saturday saw the start of a few windy days, but this did not stop our Aeros C42 microlight from training. It‘s capable of taking stronger cross-winds for take off and landing so Chris was able to fit in over 3 hours of training on Saturday that would not have been possible with out this great aircraft.
We could not have asked for a better start to March, with another two CPC pilots signed off and ready for the hill. There looks to be a low pressure pushing in this week but Wednesday could be good.
See you soon.
Andy
