Our tandem hang gliders have been adapted to take off and land on wheels, allowing wheelchair users, or anyone with physical imitations full access to tandem hang gliding experience flights or training courses.  

All our key buildings and facilities have wheelchair access, we have a wheelchair accessible toilet and the main hangar and hang glider parking areas are all on flat ground.

Your hang gliding flight or course will be run to exactly the same syllabus as for able bodied pilots. Most students undertaking hangliding tuition do not need assistance, beyond help to get into the hanglider, if necessary. This makes our wheelchair using hang glider pilots almost completely autonomous.

Tandem trial hang glider flights are available and groups can enjoy experience days that include a mixture of hang gliding and other flying disciplines.
